About me
I have been fascinated with computers and space throughout my entire life. For the last two years I have been working on taking this fascination further. Currently, I am studying Computer Science in the Engineering college at CU Boulder, and am getting real experience as a Student Assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. During my time here I have learned C++, Python, Fortran, and IDL, and have gotten tastes of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Awk, and more.
Current Projects
- Europa Hybrid Simulation
- In order to gain a better understanding of the subsurface ocean on Europa, LASP is simulating the magnetic field of Europa and its interactions with Jupiter's magnetic field. This data will be used in conjunction with readings from the upcoming Europa Clipper mission to determine characteristics such as size and composition. I am currently working on tools to read and display the results of hybrid plasma simulations.

- Android Update Tracker
- Final product can be found here.
- When shopping for my current phone, I realized that update information for android phones was hard to find at best. This experience gave me the idea to create a crowd-sourced website with information on which updates various phones are on. Ultimately we created a solid framework and proof of concept for such a site. While I am not sure if I will continue on this project in the future, I certainly learned a lot while making it.
